PlayWay's Ship Graveyard Simulator, initially released for PC and consoles, has now arrived on Android. Players assume the role of a salvage yard owner, tasked with dismantling decommissioned vessels piece by piece. A sequel is also planned for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Your primary objective is methodical demolition. Armed with a hammer and hacksaw (initially), you'll navigate rusty cargo ships, salvaging materials to maintain your business. Gameplay involves progressively larger ships, necessitating strategic planning and upgraded tools to overcome increasingly complex interiors.
As you level up, you'll unlock advanced tools like a forge for crafting and expand your inventory via a dedicated storage worker and a personal truck. A nearby vendor provides a convenient outlet for excess materials.
While not a hyper-realistic simulation, Ship Graveyard Simulator offers a calming experience focused on the satisfying process of ship dismantling. Additional tasks include completing small quests from nearby residents, adding a layer of variety to the core gameplay loop. The game’s relaxed pace is a key selling point.
The game is available now on the Google Play Store. For more gaming news, check out our article on KEMCO's Eldgear, a new tactical RPG.
