SGT. Winter's Location in Fortnite Chapter 6
The initial Wintervestigation quest directs you to SGT. Winter. These quests seem to involve teaming up with Noir to uncover clues and discover new NPCs across the Chapter 6 map.
The quest marker will pinpoint SGT. Winter's location – a snowy mountaintop near a plane crash site, east of Warrior's Watch and south of Foxy Floodgate. It's close to Mariah Carey's in-game concert location.
Talking to SGT. Winter
SGT. Winter, marked by a speech bubble, patrols near the wreckage. Interact with him to access a menu offering a Holo Twister Assault Rifle, Blizzard Grenade, or conversation options.
Select the magnifying glass icon to initiate dialogue about his investigation. He'll provide a new mission, sending you to Noir in Seaport City. Completing the conversation rewards 25,000 XP.
Surviving and Looting at SGT. Winter's Location
Reaching SGT. Winter can be tricky, as the area is a popular drop zone. Consider waiting a few days for the crowds to thin, or utilize the available cover and chests within the plane wreckage. Prioritize securing early loot and using the wreckage for cover against other players.
Alternatively, purchase items from SGT. Winter using gold bars; the Epic Holo Twister Rifle is a valuable early-game weapon.
