Re-rolling your Avowed character? It happens! This guide details how to respec your abilities, attributes, and even your companion's stats.
Why Respec?
Choosing the right build at the start can be tricky. If your initial class or attribute choices aren't working, respeccing lets you adjust your character for a more enjoyable experience. This is particularly useful in Avowed, where experimenting with different playstyles (like transitioning from a pure mage to a spellsword) is common.
Respeccing Abilities
To respec your abilities, open the main menu and select "Abilities." At the bottom, you'll find a "Reset Points" option. This costs Copper Skeyt (100 initially, increasing later). This resets all ability points except those in the "Godlike" tree (obtained through in-game choices).
Respeccing Attributes
Unsatisfied with your attributes? Navigate to the "Character" section of the menu. Underneath your attribute listings, you'll find a button to reset them. The cost, again, is Copper Skeyt (starting at 100, increasing with gameplay).
Respeccing Companions
To respec your companion, open the "Abilities" menu and go to the "Companions" tab. Under your companion's name, you'll see a button to reset their points for a Copper Skeyt cost. Note: you must respec each companion individually.
With these steps, you can optimize your Avowed experience and create the perfect character build. Avowed is available now.
