All Monsters in R.E.P.O.

Animal

Threat Level: Low

The Animal is a swift but weak opponent, easily dispatched due to its lack of aggressive countermeasures.

Apex Predator (Duck)

Threat Level: Low

Unless provoked, the Apex Predator poses no threat. However, eliminating it offers easy cash. The most efficient method is luring it to the extraction zone and crushing it with the piston.

Bang

Threat Level: Medium

True to its name, Bang is a volatile, grenade-like enemy. Upon detection or attack, it rushes towards you and explodes. The safest approach is picking it up and tossing it into water, lava, or acid. Bangs can also be used to damage other monsters.

Bowtie

Threat Level: Low

Spotting a player triggers a deafening scream from Bowtie, hindering movement and pushing you backward. While the scream itself is harmless, it can propel you into damaging obstacles. Bowties are slow and immobile while screaming, making them vulnerable to attacks. Stealth is key; approach when it's not alert.

Chef

Threat Level: Medium

The Chef's attacks are predictable. Upon sighting you, it leaps forward, slashing with knives. Dodging this attack leaves it momentarily off-balance, providing an opening to strike.

Clown

Threat Level: High

The Clown is a formidable foe. It attacks with a height-adjusting laser beam and a charging melee attack. However, after firing its laser, it's briefly stunned, offering a window for escape or counterattack.

Gnome

Threat Level: Low

Gnomes often appear in groups, prioritizing the destruction of your loot over direct attacks. Their weakness makes them easy to eliminate by picking them up and slamming them against a wall or the floor.

Headman

Threat Level: Low

The Headman, a floating head, is relatively harmless unless provoked by a light source. Otherwise, it remains passive.

Hidden

Threat Level: Medium

Resembling a cloud of black smoke, the Hidden can grab you, stunning you and causing you to drop your items. Its ability to pull you towards other enemies is particularly dangerous. Its elusive nature makes killing it difficult; hiding is often the best strategy.

Huntsman

Threat Level: Medium

Blind but highly sensitive to sound, the Huntsman fires a shotgun upon hearing noise. Proximity to its shotgun blast can be fatal. However, its predictable patrol route makes it easily avoidable. Direct confrontation is strongly discouraged.

Mentalist

Threat Level: Medium

This alien-like, floating enemy activates an anti-gravity field upon spotting a player, levitating nearby objects before slamming them to the ground. Its teleportation ability makes evasion challenging. Melee weapons are effective, and other players can pull you from the anti-gravity field if caught.

Reaper

Threat Level: Medium

The Reaper is easily avoided but powerful. Its slow speed and deafness limit its pursuit. Ranged weapons are the preferred method of elimination.

Robe

Threat Level: High

Robe is a fast and aggressive threat. Direct eye contact triggers a frenzy, increasing its speed and damage output. Its stealthy approach makes it dangerous. Avoid direct confrontation; hiding is the recommended strategy.

Rugrat

Threat Level: Low

While seemingly harmless, Rugrat scavenges for items and throws them at players. It flees when empty-handed. Eliminating it requires multiple players to lift and slam it against a wall.

Spewer

Threat Level: Medium

This tadpole-like creature chases players, vomiting projectiles. Contact causes vomiting, damaging nearby players or items. It can also damage enemies. Grabbing and shaking it causes it to flee.

Shadow Child

Threat Level: Low

Despite its creepy appearance, the Shadow Child possesses low health, making it vulnerable to most attacks.

Trudge

Threat Level: High

Like the Reaper, Trudge is slow but deadly. It pulls players towards it before striking with its mace, often resulting in instant death. It can also pull you from hiding spots. Avoidance is the best tactic.

Upscream

Threat Level: Medium

Upscreams travel in groups, grabbing and throwing players backward, causing damage and stunning them. They are vulnerable to most attacks, but the tranq gun proves particularly effective for stunning, grabbing, and slamming them against a wall or floor.
