By PenelopeApr 06,2025

Mods can significantly enhance your gaming experience in *Ready or Not*, offering new content and features that can breathe fresh life into the game. However, they can also introduce stability issues and prevent you from playing with friends who don't have the same mods installed. If you're facing these problems, here's a comprehensive guide on how to delete all mods in *Ready or Not*.

How to Remove Mods in Ready or Not

Whether you've installed mods manually, through the Nexus mod manager, or via mod.io, removing them is straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure a clean slate:

  1. Launch *Ready or Not*.
  2. Unsubscribe from all mods via the in-game Mod Menu. This step is crucial as it prevents the mods from redownloading after deletion.
  3. Close *Ready or Not*.
  4. Open Steam, right-click on *Ready or Not* in your Library, and select Properties.
  5. Navigate to Installed Files and click on Browse to access the game’s folder.
  6. Go to *Ready Or Not* > Content > Paks. Delete everything in the Paks folder, then delete the folder itself.
  7. Press Windows+R, type in %localappdata%, and press Enter. Locate the *Ready Or Not* folder, navigate to Saved > Paks, and delete this Paks folder as well.
  8. You've now removed all mods from the game. To ensure no residual issues, right-click on *Ready or Not* in Steam, go to Properties > Installed Files, and select Verify Integrity of Game Files.

If you're not planning to use mods again, consider reinstalling the game for a fresh start. While not necessary, it can help ensure a smooth experience.

Mods can enrich *Ready or Not* with new content and features, thanks to the game's robust mod support and user-friendly mod installation process. However, installing numerous mods can lead to errors, bugs, and glitches, as these are community-created and may not always be perfectly compatible. Often, the best solution to these issues is to remove all mods and reinstall them selectively.

Additionally, mods can restrict multiplayer compatibility. If you want to play with friends who don't have mods, you'll need to remove them to ensure everyone can join in the fun.

*Ready or Not is available now for PC.*
