Spiralburst Studio has released an official digital version of the popular board game, Reiner Knizia's My City. This strategic city-building game was a Spiel des Jahres nominee in 2020 and won the International Gamers Award for Two-Player Games in 2021.

Explore Reiner Knizia’s My City

In My City, your goal is to carefully place buildings on your personal board to maximize your score. Each round, a card dictates the type of building you must add, challenging you to find the best possible location.

Watch out for rocks, which act as obstacles, while preserving trees can earn you bonus points. The game steadily introduces new rules, scoring mechanics, and evolving landscapes to keep the gameplay fresh and engaging.

This evolving challenge is perfectly captured in the digital version’s 24-episode legacy Campaign. This story-driven mode gradually introduces new rules and twists as you progress through the levels.

The digital edition also includes exclusive modes not found in the physical game. The Randomized Game, unique to the app, reshuffles rules, maps, and even the river’s course for a completely new experience every time.

Elements like trees, rocks, and landmarks change positions, and you can mix in campaign rules to create a unique puzzle each session. For a more classic experience, the Eternal Game offers the standard format.

Another app-exclusive feature is the Daily Challenge, a global competition with randomized rules and board setups. Take a quick look at the game in action below.

Lots of options!

Reiner Knizia’s My City offers both solo and competitive play. Challenge up to three AI opponents or compete in online multiplayer with 2 to 4 players across platforms.

Offline play and an interactive tutorial are available for new players. The game also prioritizes accessibility with features like high-contrast colors, color symbols, and alternative building textures.

You can find the game on the Google Play Store for $6.99.
