Redmagic's new 9S Pro phone, launched in China, is poised for an international release on July 16th. This powerful device features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, UFS 4.0, and LPDDR5X RAM, available in four configurations with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
We've reviewed several Redmagic devices before, and a full review of the 9S Pro is forthcoming.
Powerful Hardware, Game Library Question Mark
The 9S Pro's impressive specs raise a question: will the available game library fully utilize its capabilities? While Apple devices boast recent next-gen titles like Resident Evil 7 and Assassin's Creed Mirage, the 9S Pro will likely focus on existing mobile games, including MiHoYo's titles and high-fidelity games such as Call of Duty Warzone Mobile. Considering a potential price point comparable to the 9 Pro (around £500), this might not justify the cost for some gamers.
