Unlocking Your Assassin's Creed Shadows Pre-Order Bonuses
If you pre-ordered Assassin's Creed Shadows, you'll receive some exclusive in-game rewards. These bonuses are accessed by completing a short quest called "Thrown to the Dogs."
How to Start and Complete "Thrown to the Dogs"
This quest becomes available after you gain control of Naoe and access the open world for the first time. Follow the quest marker on your map to locate a dog. Follow the dog to a nearby farm. You'll need to find a key hidden under a house; Naoe can crawl into a small crawlspace at the bottom of the house to retrieve it (this is easily missed!). Once you have the key, return to the dog's original location. After retrieving the key and returning, you'll befriend the dog and complete the quest.
Your Pre-Order Rewards
Completing "Thrown to the Dogs" unlocks your pre-order bonuses:
- Tsuki-maru as a pet at your Hideout.
- 1,000 XP
While the rewards may seem modest—Tsuki-maru is primarily a cute companion—the 1,000 XP is a significant boost early in the game, providing you with several Mastery Points. Remember, you'll still need to increase your Knowledge to unlock more skills.
