The final day of Six Invitational is always an exciting time for Rainbow Six Siege fans, as Ubisoft traditionally uses this event to unveil major updates and announcements. This year was no exception, with the reveal of Rauora, the latest attack operator hailing from New Zealand.
Rauora's standout feature is the DOM launcher, a bulletproof yet destructible shield designed specifically for doorways. Once deployed, the shield can be triggered by any player, but the opening time varies depending on the team: attackers enjoy a rapid one-second activation, whereas defenders face a longer three-second delay. In high-stakes scenarios, such as when the defuser is planted, this timing difference can prove pivotal.

In addition to her unique gadget, Rauora brings a fresh firearm to the game—the Reaper MK2, a fully automatic pistol equipped with a red dot sight and an extended magazine. For those preferring more traditional armaments, she also has access to the M249 LMG or the 417 marksman rifle.
Rauora will debut on the test servers in the coming days, offering players a chance to explore her abilities firsthand. Fans eager to experience her in the live game should expect a slightly longer wait.
