- PUBG Mobile Teams Up With Transformers for Special Themed Crates Across US Cities
- Capture Photos With Interactive Installations to Earn Exclusive Rewards
- Full Collaboration Event Launches July 8th
After its haunting partnership with 28 Years Later, PUBG Mobile is making a dramatic pivot with an exciting nostalgic crossover. To build anticipation for its Transformers collaboration, the battle royale game has deployed life-sized cargo crates in key American cities, giving players clues about the upcoming v3.9 update.
The impressive PUBG x Transformers installations span massive 30x30 foot areas, creating immersive scenes resembling crash-landing sites. Each display features a themed cargo container alongside iconic battle royale elements fused with Cybertronian aesthetics.
Visitors will discover air drop crates, signature frying pans, Cybertronian signal emitters, and supply boxes bearing alien insignia. Massive mechanical footprints and scorch marks suggest an imminent clash between PUBG's combatants and the legendary Autobots and Decepticons.
The installations will remain in Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles through July 7th. Players can scan QR codes onsite and post photos tagged with #SignalofCybertron to claim exclusive in-game prizes while uncovering narrative clues about these mysterious arrivals.

Installation Locations:
- Boston: Rose Kennedy Greenway, 223 Milk Street, MA
- Chicago: Navy Pier, Lakeview Terrace, 600 E. Grand Ave, IL
- Los Angeles: Irvine Spectrum, 670 Spectrum Centre Dr, CA
