Palumbo reported a conversation with an anonymous developer who confirmed receiving the PS5 Pro's specifications. This developer expressed confidence in Unreal Engine 5's improved performance on the new hardware compared to the standard PS5.

This corroborates a report from Multiplayer, an Italian gaming website, which mentioned a developer delaying a game release to align with the PS5 Pro's launch. Palumbo emphasized that these were separate developers, with the one he spoke to representing a smaller studio, suggesting widespread access to the PS5 Pro's specs among developers.

Further bolstering the Gamescom 2024 insights, analyst William R. Aguilar hinted on X in July that Sony will likely unveil the PS5 Pro later this year.
