Flat2VR Studios has thrilled fans by announcing a virtual reality adaptation of the iconic trash shooter, Postal 2, which first hit the shelves 22 years ago. The project was unveiled with an engaging debut trailer that showcases the game's trademark humor and chaotic gameplay, promising an immersive experience like never before.
The trailer follows the Dude as he gathers signatures to support the development of Postal 2 VR. Later, the developers reveal some of the remake's standout features, including a redesigned shooting mechanic tailored specifically for VR controllers, an updated user interface, and a refreshed mini-map system designed to enhance player navigation and interaction within the virtual world.
A dedicated Steam page for Postal 2: VR is now live, providing fans with screenshots, system requirements, and additional details. To dive into the PC version, users will need at least Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 GPU, and 8 GB of RAM. While Russian voiceovers won't be included in this release, subtitles will be available to ensure accessibility for all players.
Despite the modern upgrades, the core experience remains faithful to the original. Players will embark on everyday errands such as grocery shopping and returning books to the library, but they'll have the freedom to abandon normalcy and embrace absolute mayhem at any moment, staying true to the essence of Postal 2.
Postal 2 VR will be available on multiple platforms including SteamVR, PS VR2, Quest 2, and Quest 3, ensuring a wide range of players can experience the game's unique blend of humor and chaos in virtual reality.
