Pokémon TCG Pocket’s highly anticipated trading feature has finally arrived! Alongside this launch comes the exciting new Space-Time Smackdown expansion.
Trading in Pokémon TCG Pocket works much like real-life trading, allowing you to exchange cards with friends. However, there are some limitations. Only certain rarities (1-4 and 1-star) are tradeable, and trading requires resources like trade hourglasses and tokens.
The Space-Time Smackdown expansion introduces iconic Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia, along with the Sinnoh region starters Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup, and much more!
Ice-type
While the trading feature is a significant addition, initial player reception has been mixed. Many players find the restrictions—the need for resources and limitations on tradeable cards—problematic. Some argue that a completely free trading system, or no trading at all, would have been preferable. However, developers are reportedly monitoring player feedback and may implement changes in the future.
