Get ready for festive fun in Pokémon Go! Niantic's Holiday Part One event is arriving soon, bringing themed Pokémon, exciting challenges, and valuable rewards.
The event runs from December 17th to 22nd, offering double XP for catching Pokémon and a halved egg hatching distance. A new costumed Dedenne (with a shiny variant!) will debut, alongside the first-ever appearance of Shiny Sandygast.
Expect to find Alolan Sandshrew, Swinub, and Darumaka in the wild, and a festive roster in raids. One-star raids feature winter-themed Pikachu and Psyduck. Three-star raids bring Undersea Holiday Glaceon and Cryogonal, while Mega Latias and Mega Latios headline Mega Raids.
Seven-kilometer Eggs hold the chance to hatch Hisuian Growlithe or a ribbon-adorned Cubchoo. Complete event-themed Field Research tasks (or purchase a $2.00 Timed Research) for encounters with themed Pokémon, Premium Battle Passes, and more.
Collection Challenges return, rewarding Stardust, Poké Balls, and Great Balls. Show off your event Pokémon in PokéStop Showcases. Don't forget to redeem those Pokémon Go codes for extra goodies!
