If you're diving into Haegin's latest Dreamland update in *Play Together*, you're probably familiar with the unique mechanic of needing to sleep to access this mystical zone. But what happens when these whimsical dreams take a sinister turn? The new Nightmare update lets you explore this dark twist firsthand.
Dreamland has transformed into a Nightmare, thanks to the malevolent influence of the Queen of the Night. Nightmare monsters are not only invading the dream world but also seeping into the 'real world' of Kaia Island. To restore peace before the event concludes on May 21st, you'll need to confront these creatures and ultimately dethrone the Queen of the Night herself.
You'll face five distinct types of Nightmare Monsters, including the eerie Sneering Pillow and the haunting Abandoned Doll. To combat them, you'll wield the newly introduced Dream Gun. Successfully defeating all these monsters will earn you a unique reward: the Bed Consumed by Nightmares mount!
**Night terrors**
But it's not just the Nightmare Monsters you need to be wary of. The usual inhabitants of Kaia Island have been corrupted by these nightmares too. You'll discover new types of fish and insects that you can catch and trade for Nightmare Essence, the event's special currency.
In the Dreamland Workshop, you can craft new, nightmare-themed furniture such as the Nightmare Music Box and the Nightmare Garden Lamp. Plus, there's a new pet to add to your collection: the Nightmare Sheep.
