The short answer is nuanced. Technically, no, not yet in the traditional sense. However, the existing romance system, even after investing 100+ hours, proves incredibly rewarding, easily justifying the Steam price.

The November 2024 update significantly enhanced the romance system. The maximum relationship level increased from four hearts to six, introducing new events and cutscenes at two, four, and six hearts. Further expansion to eight and ten hearts is planned for future updates, but specifics remain unannounced beyond the March 2025 update (which won't include increased heart levels or new events).

Despite the pause in adding new dating mechanics, the current romance system shines. The writing is rich, realistic, and delightfully flirty, creating a satisfyingly ambiguous atmosphere.
