Marvel Contest of Champions' Murderworld event has arrived, bringing a host of new content and updates until August 7th! This thrilling event includes the X-Magica Showcase and the Spring of Sorrow Gauntlet, alongside essential bug fixes and balance adjustments.
Murderworld: A Deadly Amusement Park
The master of deadly amusement parks, Arcade, has unleashed his twisted Murderworlds upon The Contest. These aren't your average theme parks; they're designed for both entertainment and annihilation. Arcade aims for a high score—the number of Champions he can defeat. Players must outsmart Arcade's deadly games, perhaps even teaming up to take down his lethal carnival.
New Champions Take Center Stage
The Raft, the Battlerealm's maximum-security prison, is on lockdown due to a gamma radiation incident. The Summoner intervenes and encounters Patriot, embroiled in trouble. Meanwhile, The Leader's gamma-enhanced intellect is controlling both friends and foes.
Patriot (Eli Bradley), grandson of a renowned Super Soldier, and co-founder of the Young Avengers, joins the fight on July 18th. His legacy as a hero is undeniable.
On the villainous side, The Leader (Samuel Sterns), a former high school dropout, transformed into a super-genius after a gamma explosion. Instead of using his intellect for good, he chose a path of villainy, becoming the Hulk's nemesis. He enters the Contest on August 1st.
