Early vehicle construction is highly recommended; traversing Hyrule on horseback is significantly time-consuming. Air and ground vehicles allow for efficient exploration of the expansive map, which is even larger than Breath of the Wild's due to the addition of the Depths and Sky Islands. Complete exploration without a vehicle is practically impossible.

This warship boasts two automatically targeting Zonai cannons and exhibits exceptional water handling, capable of quick direction changes despite its size. The design incorporates planks, cannons, fans, homing carts, a battery, and railings, all readily available near the Construct Factory.

The railings connecting cannons and planks enhance maneuverability and torque, simplifying coastal exploration. Zonai fans act as propellers, harnessing wind power for thrust. These components (excluding railings) are obtainable from Zonai dispensers.
The game offers a wide array of Zonai devices – fans, hover stones, steering sticks, etc. – each with unique functionality, enabling construction of diverse vehicles. These devices also solve puzzles scattered across Hyrule. The most convenient method to acquire them is via Zonai charge-operated gachapon machines, frequently found on Sky Islands.
Beyond Zonai devices and shrine items, powerful abilities like Ultrahand, Recall, and Fuse allow for item combination and creation of complex structures, attachable to shields and weapons. These abilities are unlocked by completing shrines.
