Bandai Namco made waves last night with major updates on Little Nightmares 3, confirming its launch on October 10. Fans who pre-order the digital version will gain early access to the Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, available between now and the release date.
A fresh season of the Little Nightmares podcast, The Sounds of Nightmares, is on the horizon, alongside a new comic book, Little Nightmares: Descent to Nowhere, launching in October. Before that, a young adult novel, Little Nightmares: The Lonely Ones, arrives in September.
Published by Titan Comics, Little Nightmares: Descent to Nowhere weaves two parallel tales. Hush, a shy mute girl, awakens in a prison cell. Teaming up with Mono, a fellow prisoner familiar with this grim world, they must navigate their escape from a perilous dungeon.
The novel Little Nightmares: The Lonely Ones, penned by E.C. Myers and published by Scholastic, follows Ruse, a young child who wakes in a trembling, unfamiliar room alongside two strangers—a girl with a frayed rope around her neck and a gaunt boy in a tattered mask.
Bandai Namco also teased a stop-motion project in partnership with Taller del Chucho. Details are scarce, but more will be revealed later.
Little Nightmares 3, the first in the series developed by Supermassive, will launch on PC, PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series X and S, and last-gen consoles, including Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders are open for all platforms except Switch, with those coming later. Here’s what each edition of Little Nightmares 3 includes:

We previously gave Little Nightmares 2 a 7/10, noting: “Little Nightmares 2 is as hauntingly beautiful and grim as its predecessor. While brief, the reintroduction of Six as an AI-controlled co-op partner enhances the story, though it misses opportunities to elevate the puzzles and stealth gameplay.”
