Fumi Games and PlaySide Studio have unveiled new details about their highly anticipated game, *MOUSE: P.I. For Hire*, which has captured the gaming community's attention with its unique visual style inspired by 1930s cartoons. This first-person shooter, set in a noir world brimming with jazz and dynamic events, invites players to step into the shoes of private detective Jack Pepper as he unravels mysterious cases.

In an official statement on their X social media page, the developers announced that *MOUSE: P.I. For Hire* will not feature any microtransactions. They emphasized their commitment to delivering a captivating single-player experience, stating, "MOUSE: P.I. For Hire will NOT contain microtransactions. We are creating a stunning single player shooter full of noir atmosphere and explosive combat scenes that we put our hearts into creating." This decision to exclude microtransactions is noteworthy, especially in the indie game space, highlighting the developers' dedication to a pure gaming experience.

The game's aesthetic is heavily influenced by the charm of 1930s rubber hose animation, transporting players back to the golden age of early cartoons. In *MOUSE: P.I. For Hire*, players navigate a noir city teeming with mobs, gangs, and other nefarious characters. Armed with a diverse arsenal of weapons, power-ups, and explosives, players embark on a quest for justice to thwart corrupt politicians and restore order to a city pulsating with chaos and corruption.

The game adds a humorous twist to traditional first-person shooter mechanics, featuring whimsical weaponry, a distinctive health display, and cartoon-like adversaries. Although *MOUSE: P.I. For Hire* does not have a specific release date yet, it is slated to launch in 2025, promising a fresh and engaging experience for fans of both noir and vintage cartoon aesthetics.
