Capcom has officially announced that the first major post-launch update for *Monster Hunter Wilds*, titled Update 1, will be released on Thursday, April 3 Pacific Time, and April 4 UK time. In their showcase video, Capcom not only confirmed the release date but also detailed what players can look forward to in this exciting update.

The highlight of Title Update 1 is the introduction of the Grand Hub, a new social space designed for players to interact in fresh and engaging ways. Within the Grand Hub, players can enjoy a new mini-game called Barrel Bowling and catch nightly performances by the Diva. This update also introduces Mizutsune, a leviathan monster known for its dangerous bubbles, alongside a new Zoh Shia quest. Additionally, the fearsome Arch-tempered Rey Dau will make its debut later through an event quest.

Competitive players will be thrilled with the launch of Arena Quests, where players can vie for the fastest completion times. Title Update 1 brings free content for all players, including classic gestures from the series. Alongside the update, Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 will also be available.

Looking ahead, Capcom teased a collaboration with an unannounced Capcom game set to arrive in *Monster Hunter Wilds* at the end of May. The second title update, slated for summer, was previewed with an early glimpse of a new monster making its way to the game.

While PC gamers were eager for news on performance improvements following concerns at *Monster Hunter Wilds*' launch, the showcase did not address these issues. Capcom's focus remained on the new content and features coming with Title Update 1.
