Monster Hunter Wilds Fans Can Earn Pre-Launch Bonus Items

Niantic and Capcom have teamed up to bring an exciting collaboration event between the mobile game Monster Hunter Now and the highly anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds, set to launch in 2025. This event, running from February 3, 2025, at 9 am to March 31, 2025, at 11:59 pm (local time), promises a range of quests and exclusive bonus items for fans to enjoy before Wilds hits the shelves.

Monster Hunter Wilds is gearing up for its second open beta test in February 2025, which will include content from the initial test, introduce a new monster hunt, and allow character carryover. In the meantime, players can dive into Monster Hunter Now, an augmented reality mobile game that uses your real-life location to encounter and battle monsters on the map.

During the collaboration event, players can participate in limited-time Monster Hunter Wilds Collab Event Quests within Monster Hunter Now. Completing these quests will reward players with a gift code redeemable for exclusive in-game items in Monster Hunter Wilds, such as Mega Potions, Energy Drinks, Dust of Life, and more. To obtain the gift code, players should navigate to the hunter menu in Monster Hunter Now, where it will be generated for the selected platform.

Monster Hunter Now's Season 4, "Roars from the Winterwind," which started in December and will run until March 12, 2025, introduces a new habitat, additional monsters, and the Switch Axe as a new weapon type. Players can earn a variety of supply items simply by logging in during the collaboration event, including Weapon Refining Parts and Armor Refining Parts. Additionally, limited-time packs will be available in the in-game shop and web store, offering Special Carving Knives and Hunting Tickets.

Monster Hunter Wilds, one of the most eagerly awaited titles of 2025, joins other major releases like Avowed, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Nintendo’s Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and the much-anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6. As the successor to 2018's Monster Hunter: World, Wilds features expansive open-world biomes, 14 weapon types, and supports four-player co-op multiplayer. A standout feature is the Seikret mount, allowing players to carry two weapons while hunting, enhancing the gameplay experience significantly.
