Monster Hunter Now has just unveiled its exciting 2025 Spring Festival, set to run from April 14th to April 27th. This seasonal update brings a host of new content, including fresh gear and the introduction of a fierce new monster to the game.
Who’s the New Monster?
The spotlight of this event shines on the fearsome Ebony Odogaron. This isn't just a simple reskin; the Ebony Odogaron is a more aggressive variant of the standard Odogaron, distinguishable by the black smoke it emits from its mouth. You'll encounter this challenging monster in diverse environments such as forests, deserts, swamps, and tundra. With a wider roaming area and a more ferocious demeanor, prepare for a tougher battle than usual. Alongside the Ebony Odogaron, you'll also encounter familiar faces like Kulu-Ya-Ku during the festival's special quests.
The Spring Festival 2025 also introduces Spring and Rainbow Eggs, which you can collect by defeating monsters or participating in the special Hunt-a-thons. These eggs can be traded at the Event Exchange Hub for some incredible items, enhancing your gameplay experience.

The festivities reach their peak on April 18th with the introduction of Giant Egg Toys in Hunt-a-thons. Breaking these toys will reward you with a large number of exchangeable Eggs, boosting your collection significantly.
Throughout the event, you can engage in limited-time quests that offer exclusive rewards. Completing these quests will allow you to unlock the Spring Festival 2025 medal, a special Guild Card background, and Spring 2025 Armor and Weapon Tickets. Additionally, there are themed equipment packs available, perfect for enhancing your arsenal.
