Keep tabs on your Fortnite spending with these simple methods! While Fortnite is free-to-play, tracking your V-Buck purchases is crucial to avoid unexpected expenses. This guide shows you how to check your total spending.
How to Check Your Fortnite Spending
There are two main ways to monitor your Fortnite spending: directly through your Epic Games Store account and using a third-party website. Knowing your spending habits prevents financial surprises. Why is this important? Even small purchases accumulate quickly.
Checking Your Epic Games Store Account
All V-Buck transactions, regardless of platform or payment method, are recorded in your Epic Games Store account. Here's how to access this information:
- Visit the Epic Games Store website and log in.
- Click your username in the top right corner.
- Select "Account," then "Transactions."
- On the "Purchase" tab, scroll through your transaction history, clicking "Show More" as needed.
- Locate entries showing "5,000 V-Bucks" (or similar) and note the associated currency amount.
- Manually sum the V-Bucks and currency values to calculate your total spending.
Important Considerations: Free Epic Games Store games will appear in your transaction history. V-Buck card redemptions may not show a dollar amount.
Using Fortnite.gg
As highlighted by Dot Esports, Fortnite.gg provides an alternative method. While it doesn't automatically detect purchases, you can manually input your items:
- Go to Fortnite.gg and log in (or create an account).
- Navigate to "My Locker."
- Manually add each outfit and cosmetic item by clicking on it and then "+ Locker." You can also search for items.
- Your locker will display the total V-Buck value of your items. Use a V-Buck to dollar converter to estimate your total spending.
Neither method is completely foolproof, but they offer effective ways to track your Fortnite spending.
Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
