MiHoYo, the powerhouse behind HoYoVerse, has been stirring up excitement with their upcoming game, originally known as Astaweave Haven. Even before fans could get a glimpse of what's in store, the game is already seeing some changes, and we're hoping these are for the better.
If you're a fan of gacha games or RPGs, you might have heard whispers about Astaweave Haven. Despite the limited official information from MiHoYo, it's clear that this new title could mark a significant shift from HoYoVerse's typical open-world gacha adventures. Astaweave Haven is rumored to be venturing into the realm of life-simulation or management-based gaming, akin to popular titles like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley.
And now, for the big reveal: Astaweave Haven is getting a fresh new name—Petit Planet. I must say, I'm all for this rebranding. The name Petit Planet sounds adorable and hints at the game's potential as a management sim, setting it apart from MiHoYo's usual gacha RPG offerings.
When Is the Game Launching?
As of now, Petit Planet is still in development, and official details are scarce. The game, initially named Astaweave Haven, received approval in China for both PC and mobile versions back in July. More recently, on October 31st, HoYoVerse registered the new name, Petit Planet, which is currently awaiting approval in the U.S. and U.K.
MiHoYo/HoYoVerse is known for its relentless pace, as evidenced by the swift launch of Zenless Zone Zero following Honkai: Star Rail. With this in mind, once Petit Planet gets the green light, we might not have to wait long to see what this new game has to offer.
