Microsoft has announced an exciting lineup of Xbox Game Pass titles set to be added in the first half of April 2025, featuring a mix of first-party and third-party games. Highlights include South of Midnight, Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition, and more.
According to a recent post on Xbox Wire, the month kicks off strong with Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition (available on Cloud, Console, and PC) launching on April 3 for all tiers. Joining it on the same day are All You Need Is Help (Console), Still Wakes the Deep (Xbox Series X | S), and Wargroove 2 (Console), all accessible through Game Pass Standard. This initial batch of games promises to keep Xbox enthusiasts engaged throughout the month. However, the excitement doesn't stop there, as South of Midnight (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) and Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition (Console and PC) will be available to all Game Pass subscribers starting April 8.
South of Midnight, developed by Compulsion Games, is set in the Deep South and is expected to be one of the year's major releases. Microsoft describes it as a modern folktale where players will explore mythos and confront mysterious creatures while learning to wield an ancient power to overcome obstacles and address the pain haunting their hometown.
Following closely, Commandos: Origins (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) will be added to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 9, with Blue Prince (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) joining the same tiers on April 10. Wrapping up the first wave of releases, Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PC) will be available for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers on April 15.
In addition to the game lineup, Xbox Game Pass perks are also being refreshed for the first half of April 2025. Notable perks include the Beyond the Void Bundle for The First Descendant, the Sweet Starter Pack for Candy Crush Solitaire on mobile devices, and an anniversary Seventh Serving Emote for Sea of Thieves fans.
