MGS Delta Peep Demo Theater Returning As Revealed by ESRB Rating

The ESRB rating for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) confirms the return of a notable feature from the original game—the Peep Demo Theater. MGS Delta has been rated M for Mature by ESRB, which includes the controversial yet faithful inclusion of this feature.

In the Peep Demo Theater, originally seen in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater’s Subsistence and HD Collection editions, players can view every cutscene featuring the female spy EVA, but with a twist: she appears in her underwear. This mode allows players to manipulate the camera freely, zooming in on any part of her body. Unlocking this feature requires collecting all other cutscenes in the Demo Theater, necessitating four complete playthroughs of the game.

While the mature rating aligns with the game’s themes of violence and gore, the inclusion of the Peep Demo Theater, often referred to as the "Creepy mode," has surprised many fans due to its explicit and controversial content.

Faster Camouflage System

In addition to the Peep Demo Theater, MGS Delta introduces a streamlined camouflage system, as announced by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on X (formerly Twitter) on March 28. The post highlighted a new feature that allows players to swiftly change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more. The video demonstration showcased players swapping their camouflage in under three seconds, a significant improvement over the original MGS3, where the process was slower and cumbersome, requiring multiple menu navigations that disrupted the game's flow and immersion.

As the anticipation builds for the release of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater on August 26, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, fans are excited about both the return of iconic features and the quality-of-life enhancements that promise a more engaging playthrough.
