Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and More in Season 1

Get ready for a thrilling update to Marvel Rivals! NetEase Games has unveiled the upcoming Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, featuring the highly anticipated arrival of the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman. This update also includes new maps, a new game mode, and a fresh battle pass.

A recent gameplay trailer showcases Invisible Woman's unique abilities. She's classified as a Strategist, utilizing a primary attack that simultaneously damages foes and heals allies. A knockback ability keeps enemies at bay, complemented by her invisibility and double jump for enhanced mobility. She can also deploy a protective shield for teammates and unleash an ultimate ability creating a zone of invisibility, disrupting ranged attacks.

Mister Fantastic also makes his debut in Season 1, demonstrating his versatility as a Duelist with stretching attacks and a self-buff for increased durability. Many consider him a hybrid of Vanguard and Duelist roles. However, fans will need to wait for the mid-season update (approximately six to seven weeks after launch) to experience Human Torch and The Thing. NetEase Games has confirmed that full seasons will span roughly three months.

While the inclusion of the Fantastic Four is generating significant excitement, the absence of Blade, despite leaked data suggesting his presence in the game files, is a minor disappointment for some. The reveal of Dracula as the main antagonist of Season 1 further fueled speculation about Blade's inclusion, but his arrival will have to wait.
