Marvel Rivals players are in for a thrilling crossover as the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 swings into the game as a new skin. PlayStation shared the exciting news on X/Twitter, giving fans a sneak peek at how NetEase Games is bringing this iconic video game outfit to life in their new hero shooter.

The sleek Advanced Suit 2.0 first debuted in Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man and has since appeared in all three entries of the series. Its standout feature is the now-iconic white spider symbol, which now marks a surprising collaboration between Marvel Rivals and Sony's console-exclusive superhero game. Players can expect to see Spider-Man’s Advanced Suit 2.0 available in the in-game store starting January 30, coinciding with the PC release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Since its launch in December, Marvel Rivals has offered a variety of unlockable suits, but the addition of the Advanced Suit 2.0 stands out as a unique addition. Not only does it connect to the beloved PlayStation series, but it also features the voice of Yuri Lowenthal, who has voiced Peter Parker in all three Insomniac Spider-Man games and now lends his talents to Marvel Rivals. Players picking up the costume on January 30 will feel right at home as they swing into action.

NetEase's inclusion of Spider-Man’s Advanced Suit 2.0 adds to the excitement of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, which introduced new playable characters Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four. The Thing and Human Torch are set to join the roster in a few weeks, and creative director Guangyun Chen has promised to launch at least one new hero every month and a half.
