The reveal also highlights unique features of the set, including the introduction of Summons, which are part of Magic's innovative Saga creatures. Players can summon these for aid in battle, as exemplified by Summon: Shiva in the gallery. Additionally, the set brings back double-faced cards, with Cecil's transformation from Dark Knight to Redeemed Paladin as a prime example.
The Final Fantasy set will boast over 100 legendary creature cards, including 55 legendary borderless cards illustrated by beloved artists from the Final Fantasy series. This set is fully draftable and Standard-legal, set to launch on June 13. It will be accompanied by four preconstructed Commander decks, each themed around a different Final Fantasy game: 6, 7, 10, and 14. Each deck contains 100 cards, blending new Final Fantasy cards with existing ones featuring new Final Fantasy art.
