Go Lick the World: A Revolutionary Approach to Immersive News

By LucyJan 03,2025

It's a tough job preventing politicians from saying foolish things. Take President Biden's infamous "go lick the world" comment to Irish dignitaries – a moment that likely caused White House staff worldwide to facepalm. This gaffe inspired the satirical mobile game, Go Lick The World, from Pixel Play.

This clicker game cleverly blends the absurdity of modern politics with the addictive gameplay of the genre. The objective? Virtually lick the world as fast as you can (using your finger, of course!). A rotating 3D Earth, populated by a constantly evolving array of objects, is your playground.

Tap the planet (land or sea) to score points and climb the leaderboard. Boost your score by tapping orbiting satellites (think Starlink, but with a lickable twist), F35 jets, electric cars, and even Air Force One. On Earth, you'll find tongue-in-cheek landmarks like the White House, Antarctica, and a less-than-pristine San Francisco.

The game's humor extends to daily rotating items: Impeach-Mints on Mondays, Tacos on Tuesdays, Swifties on Saturdays, and pizza slices for Pizzagate enthusiasts. Unlockable Earth skins and accessories, from a "clown world" face to various hats (including a censored Texas-Mexico border hat), add to the fun. These are earned through rewarded video ads. A recent update even added a certain prominent figure's iconic hairstyle.

Go Lick The World is free to download, with optional in-app purchases to remove ads, enable auto-clicking (introducing LickGPT!), and get a coveted blue profile tick. Download it now on the App Store and Google Play Store.

UPDATE: The "Great Debate Update" includes trucker hats representing both sides of the political spectrum, and, yes, Trump's hair.
