Liam Hemsworth Debuts as Geralt in Season 5 of The Witcher: First Look

The White Wolf is making his final stand. Production on *The Witcher* Season 5 is now in motion, and fresh set photos featuring Liam Hemsworth as the iconic Geralt of Rivia have surfaced online. These images, reportedly leaked and shared via the fan-favorite site Redanian Intelligence, showcase Hemsworth fully immersed in the role, complete with Geralt’s signature long blonde hair and battle-ready attire. Among the visuals are also glimpses of familiar faces such as Meng’er Zhang returning as Milva and Joey Batey reprising his role as Jaskier — both of whom have been part of the series since the days when Henry Cavill portrayed the legendary witcher.

Liam Hemsworth officially stepped into the boots of Geralt back in October 2022, taking over from Cavill starting with Season 4 and continuing through what will be the show’s final season, Season 5. One standout casting includes veteran actor Laurence Fishburne — best known for his dramatic turn in *Morbius* — stepping into the role of Emiel Reigs, a mysterious and powerful figure from the source material.

Fans analyzing the leaked content speculate that elements of Andrzej Sapkowski’s *Tower of the Swallow* may influence the upcoming episodes, particularly scenes involving Geralt encountering beekeepers who guide him toward the druids. However, since Season 4 has yet to debut, much of the narrative remains under wraps, leaving viewers eager to see how the story will unfold and ultimately conclude.

Cavill isn’t the only major departure from earlier seasons. Kim Bodnia, who brought depth and warmth to the character of Vesemir — Geralt’s father figure and mentor — will not return for Season 4 due to scheduling conflicts.
