Letterlike's roguelike nature ensures each playthrough offers a fresh set of letters and procedurally generated challenges. The possibilities are endless, leading to countless victories.
Each game begins with a letter set. Your objective: create words, accumulate points, and conquer levels. Each level comprises three rounds.
To progress, you must score enough points by forming high-scoring words, reminiscent of Scrabble. However, you only have five attempts (lives) per round, demanding strategic wordplay.
Facing a frustrating letter combination? Don't despair! You can discard letters, but discards are limited, so choose wisely.
A handy rearrange mode allows you to drag, drop, and shuffle letters to maximize your word creation potential.
Letterlike's final round introduces a twist: a special ability renders some letters worthless, yielding zero points.
Earned points and rewards unlock various power-ups to enhance your gameplay. Some buffs are automatic, while others require reaching specific levels. Collected gems unlock powerful upgrades, simplifying future runs.
