Japanese Rhythm Game Kamitsubaki City Ensemble Drops Soon On Android

Kamitsubaki City Ensemble: A Post-Apocalyptic Rhythm Game Set to Launch

Studio Lalala's upcoming rhythm game, Kamitsubaki City Ensemble, is poised for release on August 29th, 2024. Available on Android, iOS, PC, Switch, and other consoles for a budget-friendly $3 (440 Yen), this title promises a unique blend of rhythm gameplay and post-apocalyptic storytelling.

The Story:

In a world ravaged by destruction, hope flickers through the survival of AI girls tasked with reviving melodies and restoring the world. The game unfolds the narrative behind the apocalypse and the AI's existence gradually, challenging players to uncover the truth and aid in the world's musical reconstruction.

Gameplay:

Kamitsubaki City Ensemble features five AI girls and five witches, their dance synchronized with the rhythm gameplay. Players navigate four to seven lanes of increasing difficulty (easy, normal, hard, pro), guiding the AI girls through their musical journey. The base game boasts 48 songs, with a season pass offering continuous new tracks.

The soundtrack is a highlight, featuring popular tracks from Kamitsubaki Studio and the Musical Isotope series, including "Devour the Past," "Carnivorous Plant," "Sirius's Heart," and "Terra." Stay tuned to the official website for further updates.
