January 2025 Pokemon GO Community Day Classic Announced

Niantic has officially announced that Ralts will be the featured Pokémon for the Community Day Classic in January 2025. This exciting event brings a variety of in-game bonuses, exclusive items, and evolution perks that trainers won’t want to miss. Catch and Evolve Ralts, the “Feeling Pokémon”

On Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, players across the globe will have an increased chance of encountering Ralts in the wild—and there's also a boosted probability of finding its Shiny version. For a limited time, players can purchase Ralts’ Community Day-exclusive Special Research for $2 USD. Completing this research unlocks a Premium Battle Pass, a Rare Candy XL, and three unique Ralts encounters featuring Dual Destiny-themed Special Backgrounds.

If you evolve Ralts into Kirlia during the event or within five hours after it ends, you’ll receive either Gardevoir or Gallade with the powerful Charged Attack *Synchronoise*, which delivers an impressive 80 power in Trainer, Gym, and Raid battles. Additionally, completing the Timed Research available during the event grants 4 Sinnoh Stones and another encounter with a Ralts showcasing a Dual Destiny-themed background. Unlike the main Community Day content, this Timed Research remains accessible for seven days following the event.
