Pokemon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over event, launching January 15th, introduces Shroodle and Grafaiai, marking their in-game debut. This event, running until January 19th (8 PM local time), offers a host of activities beyond these Gen IX additions.

New Pokémon: Hatch Shroodle from 12km Eggs and evolve it into Grafaiai using 50 Shroodle Candy. Surprise encounters with a fashionably attired Croagunk await snapshot takers.

Shadow Pokémon Encounters & Raids: Battle Shadow Pokémon including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. Shadow Raids feature one-star (Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, Totodile, Ralts) and three-star (Electabuzz, Magmar, Wobbuffet) encounters. Remote Raid Passes are enabled for these raids for the first time.

Shadow Palkia Special Research: A new Special Research storyline allows players to rescue Shadow Palkia.

Event Bonuses & Rewards: Increased Team GO Rocket appearances at PokéStops and in balloons. Charged TMs can be used to remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon. Field Research tasks will reward Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Collection Challenges and themed Showcases add to the event's appeal. A 300-coin bundle (Incubator, Rocket Radar, Premium Battle Pass) is available in the in-game shop.
