"Indiana Jones PS5 Rating Hints at Imminent Release"

By LoganApr 05,2025

The highly anticipated Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has recently appeared with a PlayStation 5 rating on the Entertainment Software Rating Board's website, hinting that a release date might be just around the corner. Developed by the acclaimed MachineGames, this action-adventure game initially launched on Xbox Series X and S, as well as PC, in December 2024. It's now slated for a spring 2025 release on the PS5, indicating that fans won't have to wait much longer to experience the adventure on Sony's console.

Despite Microsoft's silence on the specific PS5 release date during its recent Xbox Developer Direct showcase, the buzz suggests an announcement could be imminent. Since its launch, MachineGames has been diligent in rolling out updates, including fixes for various bugs and the addition of support for Nvidia DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction on PC. Rest assured, the PS5 version will include all the updates released so far for the console.

The game's launch on Game Pass has already propelled Indiana Jones and the Great Circle to an impressive 4 million players, a number expected to surge once the PS5 version becomes available. Adding to the excitement, the legendary Indiana Jones actor, Harrison Ford, has praised Troy Baker's portrayal of the iconic character. In a conversation with The Wall Street Journal, Ford humorously remarked, "You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it."
