What is Equipment?
In addition to leveling up your heroes, one of the most effective ways to boost their stats is through equipment. Each hero has access to six distinct equipment slots:
- Weapons
- Armor
- Shoes
- Accessories
- Artifacts
- Gems / Stones (also known as Treasures)
All artifacts within the same tier share identical upgrade costs and engulf values. As mentioned, artifacts come in multiple rarities, listed here from highest to lowest:
- Orange
- Red
- Green
- Purple
- Yellow
- Blue
Orange and Red-tier artifacts represent the highest quality gear in the game. Some artifacts are hero-exclusive, offering special abilities and enhanced stats when equipped by their corresponding characters. These exclusive variants are generally stronger than standard versions and provide an additional faction-specific bonus, marked by a faction icon. This extra effect only activates when equipped by a hero of the matching faction.
For an optimized experience with smoother controls and a larger view, consider playing Idle Heroes on your PC or laptop using BlueStacks. Paired with a keyboard and mouse, this setup delivers a more immersive and responsive gameplay session.
