Where to Find New Weapons in Hyper Light Breaker
Explore Overgrowths to discover new gear. While exploration naturally yields loot, focusing on sword (Blades) or pistol (Rails) icons on the map directly leads to weapon discoveries.
Blades are melee weapons with unique movesets and abilities, while Rails are ranged weapons, each offering distinct functionalities. Both come in varying rarities, with gold being the most powerful. Rarity directly correlates with weapon stats, as expected in loot-based games.
Store any discovered weapon in your personal stash by selecting "Cache" instead of "Equip." Equip these weapons for future runs by adjusting your loadout before starting.
Acquiring New Starting Weapons
Beyond finding new Breakers, purchase starting weapons from merchants at the Cursed Outpost. Initially, only the Blades merchant is accessible. Repairing the Rails merchant's shop, requiring specific materials, unlocks their inventory.
