Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7: "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn" Launches, Concluding the Penacony Chapter
Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, titled "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," has arrived, bringing the Penacony chapter to a close. This update introduces new characters, events, and features before the Astral Express journeys to Amphoreus, the Eternal Land.
This final stop in Penacony introduces two new 5-star characters:
- Sunday: A 5-star Imaginary character focusing on team synergy. His abilities boost ally and summon damage, with his ultimate providing regeneration and further damage enhancements.
- Fugue: A reimagined 5-star Fire version of Tingyun. Mastering enemy defense shattering, Fugue weakens opponents and increases squadmate Break Effect damage.
The limited Warp event also features the return of popular characters Jing Yuan and Firefly. Version 2.7 also adds new Astral Express features, including a relaxation area – the Party Car – and customizable Trailblazer quarters via the Cosmic Home Décor Guide event. Future updates are planned, including Version 3.0, which promises Relic system improvements for enhanced stat control, the continuation of the Path of Remembrance storyline, and new memosprites. A free 5-star character is available through the Gift of the Express event, lasting until Version 3.2.
