Honkai Impact 3rd's v8.0 update, In Search of the Sun, arrives January 9th, introducing Durandal's new battlesuit and exciting events.
New Battlesuit and Gear:
Durandal's new IMG-type Physical DMG battlesuit, Reign Solaris, boasts two forms: Rampager (javelin attacks) and Skyrider (hoverboard combat). Her ultimate involves a sky-high javelin barrage. The update also features the Valorous Effulgence weapon (and its PRI-ARM, New Voyage), designed to enhance Reign Solaris's QTEs and javelin attacks. A new stigma set, Illuminating the Universe, highlights Durandal's parallel universe escapades, showcasing themes like soccer, bands, and skateboarding.

Chapter VII, Part 2: Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes, returns to Mars, continuing Dreamseeker's investigation into the Ten Shus War, exploring Coralie's fate and a connection to the mysterious eye in Helia's mind.
A new cube puzzle game, featuring Vita and young Durandal, offers rewards like 60 million Crystals and Source Prisms.
The Countdown: To Sweet Dreams event adds comedic elements, bringing back Mei, Theresa, Fu Hua, Herrscher of Sentience, Griseo, Carole, and Vita. This event includes a boss fight involving Kiana dodging drumsticks, commanding followers in battles, and even monster training. Rewards include emblems, Crystals, Source Prisms, and Senadina's new outfit, Steering Inequations.
