Johan Pilestedt, creative director of Helldivers 2, recently revealed his wish list for potential game crossovers, sparking excitement among fans. While acknowledging the appeal of such collaborations, Pilestedt emphasized the potential risks. He cautioned that incorporating too many crossovers could dilute Helldivers 2's unique satirical, militaristic tone, ultimately creating an experience that deviates from the core game identity. He stressed that these are merely "fun musings" and not concrete plans.
The possibility of smaller crossover elements, such as individual weapons or character skins acquired through in-game currency, remains open.
