You don’t have to pay for one of Android’s top racing games anymore—at least not right away. HandyGames has released a “Try & Buy” version of Wreckfest on Android, letting you experience the game before purchasing the full version.
What’s Different in the Wreckfest Try & Buy Version?
The gameplay itself is unchanged. You can download the complete game and enjoy it for a limited time. It offers the same chaotic racing, same race modes, and the same lineup of vehicles.
Let’s start with the cars in the Wreckfest Try & Buy Version. These vehicles are banged up, rusty, and pieced together. You can pick from American muscle cars, European hatchbacks, and compact Asian models with unique personalities.
You’ll find local multiplayer, challenge mode, and a career mode. Race through championships, earn experience, unlock upgrades, and climb the ranks. There are plenty of customization options too, such as vehicle assists and manual or automatic transmission.
Wreckfest shines with its soft-body damage modeling. If your front left side takes a hit, your car will start pulling in that direction. Every collision, bump, or scrape affects your vehicle’s performance dynamically.
Will You Give It a Try?
If you haven’t experienced Wreckfest yet, the Try & Buy version is the perfect chance. The full PC version launched in June 2018 after a long early-access period. It was developed by Bugbear Entertainment and published by THQ Nordic.
The mobile version arrived in November 2022, and now with the Try & Buy edition, you can dive into the destruction yourself. Head over to the Google Play Store to check it out.
