Hades 2 is set to make its way to both the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2 as a timed console exclusive. While an exact release date remains under wraps, developer Supergiant has confirmed that the much-anticipated sequel will launch simultaneously on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and the original Nintendo Switch later this year.
The announcement came as a follow-up to last week's Nintendo Direct, where it was revealed that Hades 2 would grace the Nintendo Switch 2. Supergiant has since clarified on X/Twitter that the game will not only be available on both Switch versions but will also be a timed exclusive on Nintendo's consoles.
"Hades II v1.0 will launch simultaneously on our Early Access platforms (Steam and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch 2, and the original Nintendo Switch," the team announced.

Details regarding the release on other consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S are still pending.
