Supergiant Games, the developer behind Hades 2, recently celebrated the game's one-year milestone in early access, which began on May 6, 2024. In a heartfelt post on Twitter (X), they expressed gratitude to the community for their support and feedback, stating, "It's been incredibly exciting and eye-opening as we've worked to realize the potential so many of you see in our game. Thank you for all your feedback and patience as we get closer to the finish line!"

The original Hades followed a similar early access path, taking 22 months to reach its full release. However, Supergiant aims to expedite Hades 2's journey to completion, with plans for an initial time-exclusive launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Launching First on the Nintendo Switch 2

During a segment of Nintendo's Creator's Voice video series, Supergiant Games announced that Hades 2 will make its debut on the Nintendo Switch 2. With the Switch 2 set to launch on June 5, fans can anticipate Hades 2's release around the same timeframe.
