More Details Coming Soon from Bandai

The official GUNDAM TCG account launched a promotional video on X (formerly Twitter), announcing a "new global TCG project #GUNDAM." This exciting development coincides with the Mobile Suit Gundam 45th anniversary, commemorating 45 years of the iconic series. Whether the game will be solely physical or include online elements is yet to be determined.

Complete details will be revealed on October 3rd at 7 PM JST during Bandai's CARD GAMES Next Plan Announcement livestream on their official YouTube channel. The event will feature popular actors Kanata Hongo and Kotoko Sasaki, and former TV Tokyo announcer Shohei Taguchi. Hongo, a known GUNPLA enthusiast, previously participated in the GUNPLA 40th Anniversary Project.

The announcement has generated considerable buzz, evoking nostalgia for Bandai's past TCGs like Super Robot Wars V Crusade and Gundam War. Many fans are already referring to this new game as "Gundam War 2.0."
