Navigating the vast world of World of Warcraft on a majestic mount is one of the most exhilarating experiences players can enjoy. Among the coveted mounts is the Stormcrow known as Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren. This sleek Raven mount, inspired by the Siren Isle zone from the World of Warcraft: The War Within expansion, can be obtained through a thrilling series of steps that involve a unique event called a Storm.

How to Get Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren in World of Warcraft

To embark on the quest for Thrayir, players must collect five Runekeys scattered across Siren Isle during the Storm event. Here’s how to obtain each of them:

• Whirling Runekey: Defeat the rare spawn enemy, Ksvir the Forgotten, found in the southernmost room of the Forgotten Vault. Visit the Vault during a Storm event to increase the chance of Ksvir spawning, who nearly always drops the Whirling Runekey upon defeat.
• Torrential Runekey: Gather seven Torrential Fragments from enemies around Siren Isle during a Storm phase. These fragments combine to form the Torrential Runekey.
• Thunderous Runekey: Collect five Thunderous Fragments from chests scattered around Siren Isle. These can be obtained even if the chest's location isn't currently in a Storm.
• Cyclonic Runekey: Obtain this key by fishing anywhere on Siren Isle during a Storm phase or as a potential drop from Zek’ul the Shipbreaker in the Deadfin Mire.
• Turbulent Runekey: Assemble this key by finding three Turbulent Fragments at specific locations near Kul Tiran ghosts:
  • Behind the abandoned inn, dig in the garden.
  • Inside a cave in the Rotting Hole zone, where the ghost is cowering.
  • Inside the Spirit-Scarred Cave, where the ghost offers the fragment as a tribute.

Once all five Runekeys are in your possession, return to the Forgotten Vault on Siren Isle during the Seafury Tempest phase. Enter the eastern room of the map where you’ll find Thrayir’s body on a platform surrounded by five runestones. Insert each corresponding Runekey into the slots, and you’ll receive a quest called “Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren.” Complete this quest to add the magnificent Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren mount to your inventory.
