As Suzerain, the acclaimed narrative government simulation game, gears up to celebrate its 4th anniversary, Torpor Games is breaking from traditional celebration methods. Instead of merely offering a few events and goodies, they're set to relaunch Suzerain on mobile platforms with a major update on December 11th, 2024. This game, where you take on the role of a nation's leader navigating complex political landscapes and making tough decisions, initially launched on Android in December 2022. Set in the fictional nation of Sordland, Suzerain offers players a chance to shape the future through their choices. Here's what you can expect from the relaunch.

The Kingdom of Rizia Joins the Fray

The mobile relaunch brings exciting news for Suzerain fans: the ability to fully engage with all narrative content, matching the experience available to PC players. This includes exploring the intricate politics of both the Republic of Sordland and the newly introduced Kingdom of Rizia.

With the relaunch, Suzerain introduces Political Influence Levels and Story Points. These features allow players to advance more quickly by earning XP through daily challenges and achievements. Higher levels unlock bigger rewards, making it easier to access additional story content. Furthermore, a new cloud save system ensures your strategic decisions are securely stored on mobile, although cross-platform saves are not yet supported. Pricing for the story packs is set at $19.99 for the Republic of Sordland and $14.99 for the Kingdom of Rizia.

Embracing a freemium model, Suzerain's relaunch offers a free entry point where players can earn Story Points by watching ads. For those who prefer an ad-free experience, premium story packs are available for purchase. Additionally, subscription options vary from daily to monthly plans, and the Lifetime Pass grants permanent, ad-free access to all content.
