Shuyu's Baffling Beetle Battle Bowl is a limited-time event in Genshin Impact Version 5.3, challenging players to beetle battles. This guide provides a straightforward approach to conquering all five battles.

Event Requirements:

To participate, players must meet these prerequisites:

• Adventure Rank 20 or higher.
• Completion of the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue. While not mandatory, completing Xianyun's Story Quest "Grus Serena Chapter" adds context to the event's narrative, as Shuyu is a character featured in that quest.

Gameplay Mechanics:

The event involves controlling an Onikabuto beetle in simulated battles within a Teapot at Mt. Aocang against various overworld enemies. Controls are simple: Forward, Backward, and Jump. Strategic timing and stamina management are key, as movement and attacks consume stamina. Powerful attacks, like Piercing Strike (activated by holding the attack button), require significantly more stamina.

Battle Strategies:

Here's a breakdown of each battle and recommended strategies:

1. Staff Master (Basic Horizontal Sweeps): A straightforward Hilichurl. Focus attacks on its head, paying attention to ground markings indicating attack zones to dodge effectively.
2. Staff Master (Torch Wielder): A Hilichurl Berserker with a Pyro Slime. Target its head; the Pyro Slime is also a vulnerable point, especially during its throw animation.
3. Mumbly-Bumbly Red-Hot Mage: A Pyro Abyss Mage. More challenging due to its fireballs and flame pillars. Interrupt its spellcasting to create openings for attacks.
4. Bouncy, Energetic Cryo Mage: A Cryo Abyss Mage. Employ the same strategy as with the Pyro Abyss Mage.
5. Mini Mountain (Stonehide Lawachurl): A Stonehide Lawachurl. Quick attacks are crucial; watch for its attack patterns. A Geo Slime will appear; use Piercing Strike for maximum damage.

Difficulty and Rewards:

Choose the "Focused Fight" (two-star) difficulty for optimal Primogem rewards (30-20 per stage). "Utmost Might" (three-star) unlocks after clearing "Focused Fight," offering Mora and Enhancement Ores but no Primogems. Consult the "Dossier on Opponent" for enemy behavior insights. Co-op mode is available; select "Match" to team up with other players.
