Genshin Impact: How To Try To Clear The Abyssal Corruption Out

Completing Genshin Impact's "Vaulting the Wall of Morning Mist" quest automatically unlocks "Adventure in the Land of Mists." This quest continues the journey with Bona to locate the Altar of Primal Flame.

Bona guides the Traveler to the Cradle of Fleeting Dreams fortress in Ochkanatlan's northwest. Here, defeat the Tenebrous Mimiflora ambush before activating a mechanism to finish "Adventure in the Land of Mists," triggering the "Palace of the Vision Serpent" quest. This quest requires purifying the Abyssal Blight within Chu'ulel's Core.

Clearing the Abyssal Corruption:

To purify the Abyssal Blight, follow these steps:

1. Retrieve the Radiant Fragment from the platform.
2. Place it on the nearby Radiant Pillar to cleanse the Abyssal Blight and trigger an enemy encounter.
3. Defeat the spawned enemy.
4. Proceed to the northern Core of Chu'ulel: Interior.

Next:

1. Obtain the Radiant Fragment near the broken bridge.
2. Place it on the adjacent Radiant Pillar.
3. Descend through the floor opening.
4. Locate the Rust-Spotted Key in the library (near a jar).
5. Activate the elevator mechanism.
6. Ascend via the elevator.
7. Retrieve the previously placed Radiant Fragment.
8. Place it on the southwestern Radiant Pillar.
9. Head east.

Next:

1. Use the Rust-Spotted Key to unlock the sealed area.
2. Collect the two Radiant Fragments behind the now-unsealed wall.
3. Place them on the northwestern Radiant Pillar to activate the elevator.
4. Obtain the Pyroculus.
5. Activate the elevator to descend.
6. Gather the two Radiant Fragments (one from the elevator, one from a nearby pillar).
7. Use the nearby mechanism to open the door.

1. Go southeast.
2. Place the final two Radiant Fragments.

This clears the Abyssal Blight, dropping the Chu'ulel Light Core.

Continuing "Palace of the Vision Serpent":

1. Protect the Light Core from spawned enemies.
2. Return to Bona at the Cradle of Fleeting Dreams.
3. Speak with Bona.

Quest completion rewards: 50 Primogems, A Nameless Adventurer's Notes, a Pyrophosphorite, and a Luxurious Chest.
